Saad Al Hamady
Saad Al Hamady is an Iraqi photographer based in Basra, Iraq. He received a bachelor degree in pharmacy, got a one year clinical pharmacy training in three main hospitals in Basra, and got selling skills training by GSK consumer Healthcare drug company during his work as a medical representative.
Saad started his interest in using Photoshop before photography, he was using Photoshop to design pharmacy college related magazine during his study period. He started his interest in photography after the birth of his first son “Mustafa” in 2015 when he was trying to capture a nice photos for his son.
He read a lot of books and got a lot of online training about how to use the camera, dealing with nature & artificial lights, composition, posing, retouching and post-processing… etc.
Saad like to plan his shots, looking for the right time, environment, colors, composition and lights, his passion is to translate stories into photos creating a storytelling photos.
On May 2020, he got his first photography award when he achieved the second place in week 18 entries of #HomeCaptured Global Contest By Xposure International Photography Festival.
